William Angel was born on February 1, 1918 in Colonial Heights, Virginia. He joined the United States Army in June 1943. In January 1945, William was assigned to the 65th Infantry Division in the European Theater of Operations. The 65th eventually liberated a subcamp of Flossenburg Concentration Camp. He was discharged from the Army in 1946. |
