German Rentenmark, valued at 1 Rentenmark. Note is rectangular and printed in olive green/brown ink with text in black. Front of currency has the serial number "C-64024240" printed in red ink. Bill also has an embossed watermark in the right, bottom corner (front facing). This kind of currency was issued October 1923. |

This currency was collected by Sgt. William Vaughan who served with the 4th Armored Division during WWII. His son, Brian, donated it to the Museum. |
