Description |
Propaganda poster printed vertically on beige paper in a linear font and printed in red, gold, and subdued forest green ink. Poster was created and distributed by the Central press of the NSDAP and depicts a quotation by Adolf Hitler. Poster highlights a rectangle 11.3 by 7 inches; the rectangle is framed by two outlining and touching colors of green and gold. The rectangle is printed in red ink; the first 1/3 of it is a green swastika surrounded by a wreath with golden leaves and a green background. Below the drawing is the quotation in the color of the beige paper; below this is the name of the speaker in gold ink. The quote reads, "Wir mussen in grossen zeitraumen denken nicht fur den augenblick." Or, "We have to think in big periods of time, not for the moment." |
