Propaganda poster printed vertically on beige paper in a Gothic font and in red and black ink. Poster was created and distributed by the Central press of the NSDAP and depicts a quotation by Helmuth von Moltke, a German jurist, who worked in opposition against Hitler. Moltke would be executed by the Nazis six years later on January 23, 1945, in Ploetzensee Prison. The poster displays two drawings that could be wooden planks, before and after the quote in red ink. The one below the quote reveals the name "Moltke." The quote and the appropriate days of poster viewing are in black ink. It reads, "Nurin der eigenen kraft ruht das schicfsal jeder nation."
