Description |
Propaganda poster printed vertically on beige paper in a Gothic font and printed in silver, red, green, and black ink. Poster was created and distributed by the Central press of the NSDAP and depicts a quotation by Gottfried Keller, a seventeenth century Swiss poet. The quote is printed in red ink extending across the page. A large feather quill placed on the left of the page and behind the quote, as well as the banner holding the speakers name, are printed in silver ink. Two branches with leaves and acorns lined with the feather are printed in green ink with black accents. The quote reads, "Am allgemeinen mitzudenken ist immer notig, mitzuschwatzen aber nicht." Or, "Thinking in general is always necessary, chattering is not." |
