Description |
Propaganda poster printed vertically on tan paper in a Gothic font and in maroon and black ink. Poster was created and distributed by the Central press of the NSDAP and features a quotation by Heinrich Himmler. The first line "Die Treue" and the fourth line, "des herzens," are printed in maroon ink. The remainder of the quote, Heinrich Himmler's name, located centrally below the quote, and the appropriate dates of viewing the poster, are in black ink. The quote reads: "Die Treue ist eine Angelegenheit des hezens niemals des verstandes." In English: "Honor is a matter of the heart, never the mind." |
