Description |
Women's prisoner uniform, long-sleeved shift dress with collar. Uniform has blue and grey, vertical, stripe pattern, and is made from a medium-weight fabric. Underside of the collar is lined with a grey, light-weight fabric. Inside of collar has a small, fabric loop likely for hanging the garment. Top of dress buttons up with three black, plastic buttons. Top, left of dress has a small breast pocket stitched to the front. Dress also has two pockets on the right and left sides that are hidden in the folds of the dress. These pockets run parallel to the dress, and are made of a black, light-weight fabric. Uniform also has two pleats running vertically down the dress on the left and right sides. Pleats are sewn just above and below the side pockets, resulting in pleats that begin just above the waist, and continue to the bottom of the dress. Dress also has two sets of pleats on the back at the waist. Long sleeves appear to have been hemmed a second time to shorten the length. Uniform also has an accompanying strip of sewn fabric, which was likely used as a belt. |
