Description |
Propaganda poster printed horizontally by Gau Saarpfalz on tan paper in red and black ink and in a Gothic script. In red ink is a drawing of a Nazi flag, a Nazi arm band, the first letter of the paragraph "I", the second and third lines reading, "Das Deutschland Der Zukunft.", and the appropriate days of viewing. The remainder of the text as well as a large drawing of a Nazi solder is in black ink. The soldier has strong and stern features and is seen standing tall in front of the waving Nazi flag, and dropping three small men that shows signs of Jewish stereotypes (i.e. clothing, Yakama, large nose, long face, and round and wealthy). The illustration was done by Willi Kline. The paragraph is a quote from Alfred Rosenberg and reads, "In unserm lager stecht das Deutschland Der Zukunft. Macht Platz, ihr Liberlebten, den Machren der Neugeburt. Eure Uhr ist abgelauften!" Or, "In our camp stands the Germany of our future. Yield, you survivors, to the forces of rebirth. Your time is up!" |
