Propaganda poster printed vertically on beige paper in a typewriter font and printed in black, dark blue, light blue, light brown, and light orange ink. Poster was created and distributed by the Central press of the NSDAP and depicts a quotation by Moltke, a political opposer of Hitler and the Nazi party. The poster depicts a large rectangle 11.8 by 8.3 inches. Inside the base of the poster is a light brown color, printed within this are light orange leaves; the leaf in the bottom right most corner has the name 'Fielitz' printed inside of. Printed over the leaves on the top 1/3 of the page is decorated iron cross 11.3 by 11.3 cm long. The borders of the cross have a light blue design, while the meat of it is printed in blue ink; in the dark blue part of the cross is a raised swastika and the year 1939. Below the cross are the years 1813 and 1914. Below this is the quotation by Moltke, followed by his name. The quote reads, "um grosse erfolge zu erreichen, muss etwas gewagt warden." Or, "In order to achieve big success, something has to be dared [you have to dare something]." |
