Description |
Light blue-gray, wooden ammunitions box with return address "Major Thomas A. Ligon - 0359254, 967 FABn - APO758, 7.PM-NY." Addressed to: E Wm Ligon Jr., 905 High St., Falls Church, VA." Two brass clasps in front. Two rusted metal finger holds on ends of box. Inside lid is a paper with heading "Inhaltsverzelchnis" with nine numbers below with items written in German. On inside left of lid "dow" and Nazi eagle stamped in black. On front of box "0.7 Rf" is stamped in black. |
