2009.11.40 - Money, Paper
German 75 pfennig "notgeld" (emergency money), printed in Oberammergau in 1921, during post-WWI inflation. The bill shows the grimm reaper traveling through the town and features the date 1634 in red, which represents the year the bubonic plague death rate began to decrease. In a plea to save the town, the people of Oberammergau promised to put on a passion play every ten years, a practice which still occurs today.

SA Sports Badge Association armband. This red, cotton armband has an enwreathed swastika under a short sword embroidered in copper on a white circle and sewn onto the center of the band. This armband was worn by sports umpires, time keepers, and track officials of the SA judging at official sports events. The ends of the band are sewn together.
